Poet and Nobel prize winner
Polish poet and literary critic. Nobel Prize in Literature 1996.
Many of her poems were originally published in magazines.
Szymborska’s poetry have been translated into a number of languages – and most of it into English. Her poem “People on the Bridge” has been made into a film.
