Translations from Polish and English to Danish

I have been translating between Polish, English and Danish for more than 15 years. Polish-Danish is a relatively small market and there is not the specialisation in translation that exists in the main languages. In addition to a literary works and children’s books, my work typically includes contracts, deeds, court cases, user guides, documents from schools, websites and much more.

I don’t just translate words – I translate thoughts!

With over 15 years of experience in translation, I have acquired a broad knowledge of how to translate a text into Danish so that the reader understands the intent of the text. A successful text also requires a thorough knowledge of the institutions and traditions that exist in the language areas. I have this knowledge and experience, especially in the areas where I have specialised knowledge: law, economics, society, tourism, telecommunications. Over the years, I have also translated considerable amounts of text in more specialised areas where I have gained some knowledge, such as: printing, dental clinics, skincare and certain technical fields.

I also have extensive experience in preparing written texts, partly through the books I have written, several thousand pages of blog posts about Polish society and of course also through my work as a Danish teacher, both as a teacher of Danish as a foreign language, but also through teaching Danish children at the American School in Warsaw.
